Dates are a fantastic source of fibre and a wonderful natural sweetener, full of nutrients such as vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, choline (a nutrient similar to B-vitamins), vitamin A, folate, calcium, copper, iron, phosphorus, magnesium, manganese, zinc, and potassium.
The potassium content in dates is quite high, almost double that of bananas!
